Been debating whether or not to address some issues I had with my visit about a week ago, figured id share my 2 cents and maybe it would spark a change. Service was stellar both food and beer, I enjoyed my brisket and the flight of beer I got. Couldn't help but overhear some of the employees discussing how unhappy they were with how management treats them and deals with problems. It surprised me because I thought a great place like Arcadia is surely ran by great managers and owners. From the jist of the conversation I heard sounds like management could give a rats ass about its employees and the owner belittled someone. What ever happened to the employee golden rule? Treat your employees how you would treat your customers -maybe even better. Happy employees make happy customers, happy customers drive up business, more generated business means more profit. More profit makes the owners happy. I thought this was a simple concept that all business' understood. Sounds like Arcadia needs to work on how they treat their employees. Great location and building, food and beer was good, sorry to hear the employees are treated so poorly. Tipped my bartender well just because I've been in her shoes before
My family and I come here often due to the great food and friendly atmosphere. Although the focus is drinking, the food is delicious and selection is pretty good. Much of the food is meat, however, there are some non-meat options they offer. Along with great food, they also allow dogs and sometimes have live music. I would highly recommend eating here during the summer since they roll up their garage doors and have a wonderful outdoor eating area along the river, which also creates a great, airy vibe.
This brewery deserves five stars with the exception of a staff member who was having an off day! Friendly staff, great service. We were here for both a rehearsal dinner and later that weekend to hang out. The brewery tour was great with Cedar, and he gave us tickets for 5oz tastes after the tour! When we were closing out with our original server, the bartender Leslie became annoyed with us when we asked to use our tickets to get tasters. She continued to be abrasive, aggressive and rude on a relaxing beautiful Sunday. I'm not sure what we did to make her to angry with us, but I'd still come back any time for the great staff and beer! Just unfortunate that we rubbed someone the wrong way.
Overall, this is a great place to have drinks [if that's you] and eat great food.
Great place with excellent brews they make something for everyone. Don't be shy just ask staff is great at helping you to meet your needs. Great food that is ment to enhance your drink. Great views love sitting outside along the river in nice weather.
Although I personally don't drink, the food and atmosphere are wonderful.
