Absolutely horrid service by the pa i saw tonight. I was in the er for pneumonia Tues 12-19. Tonight was my follow up from my er visit. The Pa never listened to my lungs nor checked anything out to see how i am healing. She was more interested in setting up a xray for a month from now to see if i had scaring in my lungs and other medical issues that i never had nor have ever had issues with. She has no idea how i am or how i am healing as that was NEVER discussed tonight. I have asthma and she asked if my inhaler was helping and i said no it is not and she ignored my answers. She left the room after i told her i will not do the flu shot as in the past it made me sick. So i have no clue if i am healing or not, i am still having breathing issues which i expressed tonight, and this was pretty much a waste of my time. Do not see Jennifer Dykstra it is a waste of time and i will not be back. I am looking into a real dr tomorrow that cares for their patients and puts their best interests first not bs issues completely ignoring the reason the patient is there to begin with. I guess a relapse would be the only way to know if it is cleared up or not...what a joke. All of this after a 45 minute wait to be seen to begin with.
I had to get a third party on the line once for them to claim to refund me money. It's been two months and I am still waiting....
This office is like brand new, and now I know why. They lie about their fees up front, then bill you much larger amounts after the visit and threaten you with collection notices if you don't pay their ridiculous after visit charges. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A SMALL AMOUNT THEN BILL YOU HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS POST VISIT!!! READ THIS ENTIRE EXPERIENCE I'VE BEEN BATTLING OVER THE LAST 4 MONTHS AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY! Absolutely horrible experience. I normally go to an immediate care place closer to my home but their costs are high. I was referred to Family Health Center and called them to learn it was only $50 for a doctor visit. Upon arrival I completed the paperwork and again, was told it was $50 to be seen. The doctor was great...BUT...two weeks later they sent me a bill for $272 saying I had a 'remaining balance'. I called immediately and explained that I was told it was $50, I came there because the place near my home is $150 and I only went to them because there was a significant cost difference and I don't have insurance. I told them I wanted to get it resolved immediately because I didn't want a collection or something due to their error. The person I spoke to apologized, asked me to fill out a dispute form and assured me it would 'be taken care of' and said she would note my file so I had nothing to worry about. She said Ari would reach out to me. Every few weeks they kept sending the bills. I called and left messages for the woman named Ari EVERY TIME they sent me a letter. She NEVER returned my calls until today, 4 months later, because I called yesterday and let them know I received a collection notice! Ari called me and said "I'll be honest I haven't checked my voice mails and have been clearing them out. Also I called another person with your same name and left a message but they never called me back." Nothing about that sounds honest but hey, benefit of the doubt in spite of the unprofessional behavior. I then stressed the importance of them calling their collection company so that this wouldn't hit my credit report. She said "I'm not making you any promises but I'll talk to a few other people and see what we can do." I would NEVER recommend anyone go to Family Health Center and I would strongly encourage you to find a place that doesn't lie about their fees, avoid your phone calls, then try to extort you with collection threats that will damage your credit report.
I really love Come here The people are really great here I all way have the best care when I am here I get good help here from everyone in this Health Center they smile kindly ask me what I need in help or send to other doctors that can help
Have waited over and hour in one of the exam rooms I got up and walked out the doctor totally forget about me. Also was told by one of the medical staff about how bad this place was. That's pretty poor. Called to reschedule appointment and no one gets back to me. Also was put in a program their where I am to get a call once a month to see how I am doing so that I do not have to go to the ER that has been months ago and no call. It's a total joke and a shame.
Worst Billing department, hands down.
I have been over charged on several occasions and put in to a collection once. Simply because they failed to transfer my account from one system to another. They have auto debited my account without permission and their department manager has never returned a voicemail. They don't regularly send statements and good luck if youre put on hold, they will either not return a call or hang up on you.
Seriously, check your statements. They are crooks.
