I would NEVER, EVER recommend this place to anyone. On top of our loss, we had to deal with this traumatic experience on top of it.
On top of that, my mom's wedding ring went missing. When asked, they claimed she didn't have a ring. That is not true. I was with her when she passed. And she had the ring on when they took her away.
I would give this place no stars if I could.
We used Whitley Funeral home for the cremation of my mother last summer. It was a horrible experience. We ordered an urn for her ashes that was supposed to be ready before her Memorial Service. When we got there they handed us a small bag with a small, plastic black box. I remember thinking that the box was awfully small to fit an urn into it. When we brought it home, I opened the box to find my Mom's ashes in a clear plastic bag secured with a bread tie. I was horrified. My husband immediately went over there to get the urn and rectify the situation. He was informed that they didn't have the urn, and wouldn't for the next 2 weeks. My mother's Memorial was the next day. So they loaned us an empty urn to use as a "display ". I was heartbroken.
