So I will say that everyone at Tavani is super nice. I've gotten a great cut there around 2 years ago that I was very happy with (hence what any of the stars are for). I recently went back to get highlights and a cut. I am happy with the cut and when I look at myself straight on in the mirror the color looks ok. But as soon as I got home my husband said "what the heck is wrong with the top of your head?" This is from a man who NEVER notices when I get a cut or color done. He tells me to go look in the mirror but with my chin down to see the top. Yikes! The roots look awful (see photo- taken around an hour after leaving the salon.) I called the next morning right when they opened to get it fixed, but you must get corrections from the same stylist who performed the service and she was booked all day. Then between her availability and my work schedule, I couldn't get back in for a week. I feel too uncomfortable waiting that long when it looks so weird to anyone taller than me (and I'm super short) or when I look down. I'm going to a different salon who squeezed me in today to get it fixed. Don't think I will be back to Tavani :-(

They take the time asking what kind of haircut your looking . When they wash your hair the sink has warm towel at the neck rest. They also use organic shampoo to bring your hair back to feeling great.
First time in a hair salon in ages, with a mess of hair down to my butt since I was young and desperately needing a clean-up and new look. I called ahead about walk-in, and was able to get in shortly thereafter. I was a little nervous about chopping off my long hair I've had forever, but needed a change, and the experience made me absolutely comfortable. The staff was very professional and friendly, and I lucked out with Cayla, my stylist; she was absolutely GREAT! She was friendly, genuine, understanding, listened to my needs and concerns, answered all my silly, annoying, random questions, gave me tips and pointers, and above all, did a fabulous job on my hair! I left feeling thrilled, beautiful, and got tons of compliments from friends and family. So glad I went, and will definitely return to see Cayla!
