This Ace Hardware is definitely a helpful place! My parents hand me a list of things to fix around their house when I am in town and this is the first place I go. The employees are always helpful when I don't understand how to fix something (my parents garden hose, toilets, and lights for example) and will walk me through how to do it step by step. They suggest things that they themselves have used and liked rather then what is the most expensive option available. There is a gift area attached that has flowers which are always a hit with my mom. The fresh popcorn is a bonus.
That I could get a bucket under it to catch the oil as it was draining. This saving me from cleaning oil off the floor every oil change. They have a lot of hardware where I might not find that I would drive all over to find.
I always find what I want, even when I don't know what I want. The staff is always very helpful and the dog is great. So is the free popcorn. Buying local is also much more convenient than driving to town.
