Honestly, I feel like 2 stars is just me being generous, although wait times are fairly short (which is nice.) and they do call in prescriptions and such pretty quickly I feel that the doctor's here (Not the NP's, the actually Doctor's.) are very pushy with medication. I specifically told my NP that I did not want birth control or the vaccine first HPV at all at my first visit in 2016. She understood and said that's fine, we won't pursue that. I come in 2017 and the doctor just didn't seem to know anything, didn't have my chart, didn't have information. He asked basically the same questions that they asked a year before at my initial visit. I was kind of irked by that but I let it go. He then proceeded to explain to me that I need the HPV vaccine and that birth control is going to regulate all my cycles and such and that if I got pregnant it would be high risk so I should be using birth control. I explained to him due to my beliefs I did not want to pursue it. He scheduled me for a colposcopy and performed this. At the follow up he pushed it AGAIN. I explained that I am not doing it. I don't want to do it. I understand his concern but I've told them before I didn't want that and I wished they would have just listened to me.. So overall, the NP's are pretty great but the doctor's themselves aren't very considerate. I've actually decided to switch back to my old doctor here in the next few months instead since she paid attention to my needs.
zero stars should be an option. Trying to get an appointment here in almost impossible, I am so disappointed in this office. I will not go here in the future. I am due tomorrow I have been going to the same midwife for the last 8 months and now I can't get an appointment with anyone within the next 3 weeks what do I do if I need an induction? No one needs to feel abandoned by their health care provider.

Dr. Schauer was a great OBGYN for us. Very attentive to our needs and special requests and did a great job making us feel comfortable. Also notified us about free massage services available at the end of our pregnancy for complications I was having.
