If this review did not require me to put one star I wouldn't have. I would not recommend this place. I felt upsold on the tests the vet wanted to do on my animal and felt like the vet was just trying to do unnecessary tests to bring the price up of the vet appointment. The vet also tried to "educate me” on dog food brands and tried to change my dogs food from a really good brand that was all natural to a brand that has a lot of fats and preservatives. You should always look at the ingredients on your dog’s food. I just wanted the best food for my dog and of course I was going to take the advice of a vet until I saw what the food recommendation was made of. Some vets get money from these big factory companies to promote their food, I'm not sure if this vet is one of them but it sure did sound like it. I do not believe this vet is looking out for the best interest of your animal.
Recommend this place have heard nothing but good service. Friendly staff great place to take your animals.
When my dog had a fever of 108 earlier this year, every single person in the hospital including the ladies at the front desk were in the back covering him in bags of ice and trying to figure out what was wrong with him. They stayed after closing to get his temperature down just enough for us to transfer him to Blue Pearl and if it weren't for their dedication he wouldn't have made it. They called me on a regular basis to see how he was doing in the hospital and were so caring. When he came home from the hospital he had a feeding tube and we had an emergency where I thought the tube had migrated into his lungs, so the vets came back from lunch just to take the tube out. These are truly amazing people and they really care about you and your pets.
I am a long time client of Texas Corner Animal Hospital and I have only wonderful things to say about the facility and the staff. They have been kind and considerate throughout many situations with each of my pets. I’m extremely fussy about who takes of my “fur babies” and I do not trust just anyone. I ask a lot of questions and I am involved in the care of my pet. I feel they have always answered my questions thoroughly and whenever I asked something that they couldn’t answer immediately, they looked into it. I am not offering my recommendation lightly. I work primarily with Dr. Brett and Jacki but I have never had a bad experience with any of the other doctors or staff members. While I’m sure there are other good veterinarians in town, I highly recommend the quality of care you will receive at Texas Corners Animal Hospital.
