I was referred to this place by a friend who knows the owner. I brought my car in because I'd been ignoring a check engine light but was moving to California and needed it taken care of so as to avoid any incidents on my move.
Dont take your car here this place is a scam. They do whatever they can to suck the money out of you.
Halli is one of the few people I've met in the automotive industry who has genuine COMPASSION for customers, especially for those who are in a tight spot financially. When I was in there recently, he asked about how I was doing - not just to be polite, but because he genuinely wanted to know. That kind of customer service is rare nowadays.

Halli's has done work on our vehicles since 1990 and has always gone above and beyond the norm to resolve issues that the dealers where we purchased our vehicles could not resolve. They are honest, communicate well with customers and know their business. The shop is neat, clean, the staff is wonderful and knows their stuff and our cars get good care. Who could ask for more? Problem 2: One month later I went to use my hazard lights but found them not working. During the repairs they had to enter my center console and had removed some of the dash paneling, during which the hazard switch had come loose. I replaced my own stereo so I knew how to take it off and went to investigate the switch. Sure enough it was disconnected, no big deal. What was a big deal was that they had broken the bottom part of my dash paneling and didn't tell me. Dishonest workers or dishonest shop policies. Who know's what else they break and don't tell their customers.
Problem 1: I was told after the diagnostic that the likely culprit was a map sensor, but instead of them replacing it they told me they needed to test to ensure it was actually faulty. I assumed that it was extremely expensive and that the $99 test would save me money if it turned out not to be the sensor. However, the sensor was $126 dollars to fix and the "likely" culprit so I'm pretty sure they just wanted to pad the bill. My fault for not asking what the sensor cost to replace, but shame on them for not giving me the full information to make that decision. Since it was a friend's referral I thought they'd be honest people.
