Will not rush you through a sale, or try to up sell you. Like certain other stores locally, who don't care about your actual needs, or skill level. That just want to push the highest dollar, most intricate nutrient line available.
Always a great experience nice knowledgeable staff if you don't see it ask all are always welcome here no matter what your garden is from soil to nft from organic to synthetic.
And I gotta say a knowledgeable staff. That is important. Some shops can be intimidating to ask info, for fear of being talked down to like an idiot by some post pubescent college kid who wouldn't know his ass from an ebb n flo system...

This is where I get all my supplies.
They always have what I'm looking for, at comparable prices to htg and others here in Kalamazoo. And in most cases are right about the same as on the web.
The owner is in there a lot of the time, and he's an excellent people person. He'll bounce questions off you to figure out what you really need. Very knowledgeable about everything in his store and has great deals. Excellent place for a first time grower to get some knowledge about equipment, nutrients, techniques, and just about anything to do with the business, and doesn't try to up sell everything like other stores. Best store in Kalamazoo.
Great place! Descent prices. Very friendly staff; not that "I'm hating my job but pretending to like you to make a sale" bs you get from a lot of places. Keep being genuine guys!

Very friendly staff. But priced way over local competitor stores. I didn't end up shopping there. Got what i was looking for $75.00 dollars cheaper across town. Again staff was extremely pleasant, and knowledgeable. Much friendlier than were i bought my lights actually. But friendly or not doesn't help the wallet. Best of luck to them. Peace
