Steve did a wonderful job with several very large an delicate pieces we brought back from overseas. The pieces needed to be stretched and mounted and then framed. We could not be happier with the quality of work and with the excellent service.
I brought in some of my dad's old boy scouts paraphernalia to get framed up as a Christmas present. Steve (owner) reviewed options with me and we settled on what turned out to be a gorgeous item. I'm not a designer by any means, so I would not hesitate to let people know they can depend on his expertise if you have an idea in mind but need some help fleshing it out.
While I didn't know much about framing before I visited Traditions the owner, Steve, completely changed that. It's worth noting he had a zero, sales pressure environment. Which simply isn't the case with others in town. Regardless the knowledge and approaches Steve shared while examining my pictures, and offering various price options, demonstrated he's a true craftsman. Overall the end-result was stunning and I'm effectively looking around the house for more things to frame! Thanks, Steve!
Closing note: my dad absolutely loved the gift! Next framing I want done, gift or otherwise, I'll be going back.
Steve took excellent care of us during our stay at Western Michigan, providing just the perfect frame and quality matte for our gift to the Institute Director. He was knowledgeable and solicitous, and presented us with a finished picture that all our participants were truly proud to present to our host.
I share this part not so people go digging for a 'good deal' (the overall value of the end product was worth it at either price), but so hopefully people understand that you are dealing with a reasonable person who is looking to create a stable, long-term customer relationship. This is the best sort of person to work with; financial exchange or otherwise.

Unfortunately there was an issue completing my order before I needed it on Friday 12/23. Turned out it was not a big deal (my family is pretty easy going, so an explanation of the situation was all it took), but Steve was more than generous in righting the situation.
