Called them about a week in advance to make a reservation. We show up and they didn't have it in their system. Luckily, we were still able to get the room we wanted, and the front desk worker was very apologetic. Very nice room, decent pool and fitness room, and a pretty good continental breakfast too. Overall a good experience.
This year was a little disappointing due to the noise level in the hotel. Both Thursday and Friday night there were multiple rooms with loud music and loud people. I cam only assume the size of the rooms are good for party crowds as well as parents. I did call down to the front desk both nights and it seemed to be handled, but just the overall issue will cause me to look for other accommodations next year.
Nice hotel with great breakfast. The pool is a plus. This is the second Thanksgiving weekend spent in Kalamazoo at thos hotel. My wife's grandfather lives very close, so the proximity is a great draw. Additionally, the rooms are perfect for a family of 5. We get the suite which has two queen beds and a pullout sofa. It's perfect.
The hotel is very nice. Well taken care of. Breakfast in the mornings are very good and plentiful. Would definitely come back. And I am surely gonna recommend this hotel to a friend!
very professional and accommodating staff, breakfast was better than what most other hotels offer, and the fitness center, hot tub and pool were great. definitely will be my first choice when I visit kalamazoo, the location is close to everything.... plus the price is better than reasonable...
The room was nice and big but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was decent because it had breakfast potatoes ,which I say is a bonus, but the bagels were stale and the danishes didn't taste right. There was also a weird smell in the hotel which could have been a chlorine smell or something else but I didn't like it.
