-a room with this many issues should not available until it is brought up to par.
-there were no black out curtains on the window with a parking lot light right outside the window.
-bathroom door had no knob - just a gaping hole were the knob used to be.
Staying for a week here. So far everything seems pretty good. Pool and hot tub are nice, grounds are well kept. The area has lots of food choices to choose from & located near many good areas to shop. Staff is nice!
-window was not sealed and live bugs and outside noise was a problem. it seemed as if the window was open at all times.
-the only star earned is for the small amount we will be getting refunded for our night stay.
the key card did not work and we would have to get someone from the desk (who was usually busy) to open our door every time.
-most everything else was dirty/stained - desk chair, curtains, area around sink/counter.
Great place for the price. Stay here whenever we have business in the area. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Only gave four stars cause the property could use some updates. Pool and spa are nice to use, although if your are looking for a quite pool, this place attracts many young families, so it can be loud and hectic in pool area. Breakfast is you normal run of the mill complimentary breakfast.
-towel rack was bent and breaking away from wall mount.
-in-room coffee pot did not work.
Outstanding hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were no problems in this trip at all. Family had a great time.
Good rooms with a large TV. Came with a microwave and mini fridge, which are nice bonuses. Very comfortable bed with many pillows of varying firmness. The hot tub was a little dirty with some skum floating on the surface and the hot water heater was down for a few hours
we found out after we got to kalamazoo that it was home coming weekend and there were no rooms to be had - so we could not just leave here and go somewhere else.
-sheets and towels were clean.
-bed/mattress showed recent signs of bed bugs, but no live critters were in evidence.
-at first we were told there were no extra rooms to switch to - later we were told we could switch to a room where the leaking ceiling had stopped leaking. due to the intense rains occurring in the area, we chose to stay in the locked room over the one with the leaky ceiling.
-microwave was gross with baked-on splatters and dead bugs in it.
